cryptocurrency and what they are used for.
The are thousands of cryptocurrencies
today.But most of them fall under a few
main categories:
🪙 1.Bitcoin (BTC)
.The first and most popular.
cryptocurrency.
.Used mainly as digital money and store
of value.
.many people call it "digital gold".
💻 2.Ethereum (ETH)
.Not just a currency, but a platform for
building apos(called decentralized apps
or dApps).
.It introduced something called samart
contracts - self-running agreement that
don't need middleman.
🪙 3. Stablecoins (e.g.,USDT,USDC,BUSD)
.These are coins tied to real-world assets
Like the US Dollar.
.Their value stays stable (1 coin = $1).
.Used for saving.transferring money,and
trading safly.
🚀 4. Altcoins(Alternative coins)
.All other coins besides Bitcoin.
